The Keysight 5517 laser calibration system is a precision positioning feedback system designed for industries such as semiconductors, exposure machines, and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). It complements the displacement accuracy that optical scales cannot achieve. The Coherent 5517 laser belongs to the helium-neon dual-frequency laser category, providing highly stable and accurate 633nm wavelength. It serves as a standard and stable laser signal source, enabling a positioning system for multi-axis distance measurement and position feedback through the optical path design on the equipment.
